Aussies in NBA: Bairstow returns to Bulls from D-League Spurs?
It looks like Cameron Bairstow's brief stint with the D-League might be over.
This was noted by Cody Westerlund of CBS Chicago. After the Bulls' latest practice session, head coach Fred Hoiberg sounded like Bairstow might very well be returning to Chicago.

It's also worth noting that Bairstow's D-League stats profile has been marked as a "historic player" (as opposed to an active player) at this point, so this report is very likely accurate.
This is excellent news, given that Cam has adapted and performed well in his recent games with the Austin Spurs.
He started out with an unsteady 4 of 17 shooting performance in his debut appearance, and has made strides since. This is true, especially when it came to his recent 17-point, 7 rebound effort against the Reno Bighorns, where he had an efficient 6 of 9 scoring line (box score).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-qdbZ59Rls Bairstow averaged 14 points on 47.5% shooting, and had 8 rebounds in 26.5 minutes over his five games with the Austin Spurs. It remains to be seen if he will be able to crack the Chicago Bulls' front court rotation and get regular minutes, but Bairstow's return to Chicago is definitely a first step.
