Andrew Bogut cleared of "significant structural injury"
It sounds like Andrew Bogut's injury during the Germany game is not a significant one, and will likely not impede his playing status too much.
During the Boomers' last warmup game on Thursday night, playing against Germany in China, Bogut looked like he tweaked his ankle, and left the game in the fourth quarter. The Boomers lost that game 74-64.
Basketball Australia announced in a media release on Friday night, that following precautionary scans, Boomers big man Andrew Bogut has been cleared of any significant structural injury.
Bogut continues with rehabilitation and treatment, and his training status remains day to day. It's unclear if he will play in the coming game against Canada this weekend.
