Lewis, who has played for both Townsville and Adelaide in her WNBL career, managed only 11 games last season after a calf injury slowed her progress.
With just a season high of 12 points, averaging a career low 3.7ppg with the Lightning last year, Lewis will be looking to reignite her form next season with the SEQ side.
The 28 year old has played seven years in the competition and will play alongside Opals stars Erin Phillips, Rachel Jarry and Rebecca Allen as foundation players.
With Adelaide's unstable future within the competition, Lewis is the first player to jump ship and secure a new contract for future seasons.
