The 2022 WNBL Finals are almost here and with four teams all looking capable of winning the title, these potential X factors will have a large say in how the Finals pan out.

It’s almost WNBL Finals time, and while there is still a round to be played, the top four teams are set in stone, with only positioning still to be decided.

The top four teams have raced away from the rest of the competition and when Finals roll around, there is a case to be made that each team has a very realistic chance at being crowned the 2022 WNBL Champions.

It’s certainly shaping up as being an exhilarating Finals series and there are a few X factors across the league that will have a huge say in how far their respective teams go in the post-season.

Darcee Garbin (Perth Lynx)

Much like Tess Madgen, Darcee Garbin can get lost among the superstar players on her team. An Opal in her right, Garbin is Perth’s captain and continues to shoot the lights out from deep, connecting on 40.8% of shots from beyond the arc – good enough for third best in the league.
