Brock Motum led the trio of Aussie men starring across Euroleague and EuroCup with another big scoring performance.

Round 11 of the Euroleague saw Zalgiris Kaunas taking on European powerhouse Real Madrid. Coming out of the gates, Zalgiris proved to be on par with the Spaniards, as both teams continued battling back and forth for the majority of the first half (49-all). Real Madrid started to pull ahead with their play in the third quarter, yet Zalgiris fought back with a strong showing of their own in the fourth. However the Lithuanian side was not able to do enough to get in front, as Real Madrid pulled out the win 96-91.

Brock Motum continued getting buckets at will all game, scoring 17 points on an efficient 6/11 shooting from the field, and 2/4 shooting from deep in 23 minutes of action. However, his stellar play still wasn’t enough to get Zalgiris over the top who now have a 3-5 record.

Ryan Broekhoff was an absolute beast on the glass in Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar's 88-68 win against Hapoel Jurusalem in EuroCup play. The Boomers swingman hauled in 12 rebounds on the night (2 offensive), with his tenacious energy and hustle really set the tone for the team early. Broekhoff finished the game with six points and one made three-pointer in 25 minutes of action.

Lokomotiv earned themselves their third win of the season in what proved to be a one-sided affair, especially in the second half play. Lokomotiv dominated Hapoel Jerusalem through the final two quarters, outscoring them 46-33. With the win, Lokomotiv improved to 3-4 and remain in the running to secure third place in Group D.

Ben Madgen did his part in trying to get Lietkabelis Panevezys the win over Herbalife Gran Canaria, scoring 14 points and dishing out 4 assists in 32 minutes of action. Madgen did an outstanding job getting efficient looks at the rim or draining shots from behind the arc, shooting 6/10 from the field and 2/3 from three-point territory.

However despite his best efforts, Lietkabelis wasn’t to pull out the win, with Gran Canaria's strong third quarter showing the key reason for that. Gran Canaria outscored Lietkabelis 27-11 in the third quarter, and that was just something they couldn’t recover from, going down 73-92. Despite the loss Lietkabelis has already qualified for the next round.
