Mitch Creek's undefeated Timberwolves advance to Summer League finals
Mitch Creek's heading into the final stretch of Summer League!
The Minnesota Timberwolves' semi-final matchup against the Brooklyn Nets --whom Creek played for last season-- was a low-scoring affair, ending 85-77 in favour of Minnesota. Both teams shot poorly, with the Timberwolves at 33.3% (28/84) and the Nets 31.5% (28/89). The difference came from outside shooting; Brooklyn made only 2 of their 19 three-point attempts, while Minnesota had 11 of 34.
Big man Naz Reid led the team with 20 points, but Mitch Creek showed his outside shooting off in this game, hitting 3 of 4 from the three-point line. The forward played nearly 28 minutes, ending the game with 11 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 block.

Creek continues to prove his value on all ends of the court, and further cements his case for an NBA contract this coming season. Across six games played, he's averaging 10.8 points at a 62% clip, 4.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.8 steals in 25.5 minutes per game.
