EuroView: Trist doubles up in Denmark
Dan Trist and Jonah Bolden both had big performances in leading their teams to wins in Europe last weekend.

Trist was in fine form, going 9-of-16 from the field while also adding 3 assists. Horsens more efficient offense would prevail, as Trist's side dished out 25 assists and won the rebound count by 8.

After a tight first half, FMP Belgrade broke away from Zadar thanks to a 25-19 third quarter to power their way to a commanding 94-77 victory. 6'10 first year professional Jonah Bolden had another solid outing, stalking the paint defensively and picking his moments at the other end to make a valuable contribution. He finished with 13 points (6/10 FG) with 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 block in 28 minutes. In the VTB United League, Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar rode their strong first half performance against Zenit St Petersburg to hold on for a 68-62 win. Without their 41-26 half time lead, Lokomotiv may well have been overrun as Zenit finished strongly. Ryan Broehoff's sharpshooting was not required in this contest, with the 6'7 forward scoring just 6 points including 1-of-1 from downtown. However as he has shown many times throughout his career, he played his role and was able to haul in an impressive 10 rebounds while also dishing out 3 assists. It was an impressive road win by Lokomotiv over their fifth ranked opponent, allowing them to move into third place.

Brock Motum started and scored 13 points in just 11 minutes as Žalgiris Kaunas ran away from Šiauliai to win 98-82. Motum has been in devastating scoring form, and this contest proved no different as the competition leading Žalgiris injected game time into their bench. The 6'10 Australian Boomer missed just 1 shot in his performance while also adding 4 rebounds and 2 assists in quick time. With the victory, Žalgiris has kept distance between them and second placed Lietkabelis.

The hot-shooting of Clint Steindl was put on ice as the Leuven Bears were narrowly beaten 84-87 by the Port of Antwerp Giants in Belgium. Steindl never got going offensively, and while he would dish out 4 assists, he only added 2 points in 21 minutes. The Bears are having trouble finding a way to win, and currently hold up the ladder in last place with a 3-9 record.
Guard Josh Wilcher poured in a team-high 20 points but could not prevent Cheshire from falling to Michael Vigor's Bristol 89-95 in the British Basketball League. While Wilcher was outstanding in also adding 3 rebounds and 4 assists, Vigor contributed 15 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists in a sublime performance of his own. Both Bristol and Cheshire remain in the lower half of the table, with the Flyers now 1 game ahead of the Phoenix.
