EuroView: Talbot's dominance in Gorzow continues
Steph Talbot has led AZS AJP of Gorzow to a brilliant win over fellow Australian Tess Madgen’s AZS UMCS of Lublin. Talbot’s huge night was just 3 steals away from an epic quadruple-double.
Talbot’s monstrous game consisted of a triple-double of 12 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists. She didn’t stop there however, the Australian guard contributed a massive 7 steals to her tally for the night. Talbot’s effort was closely followed by Nicole Seekamp, who’s solid game consisted of 14 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists.

For Lublin, Madgen fought hard with 12 points and 8 rebounds.
Nat Hurst and Cayla George battled it out in EuroLeague this week, with Hurst’s Hatay taking home the win in a 74-66 victory. Whilst it was a quiet game for Hurst, George was best on for UNIQA Sopron, top scoring with 17 points and 11 rebounds for the night.
It was a healthy week for Hatay, who also managed to pull off a brilliant Turkish league win away from home against Adana ASKI by 7 points. Hurst ran the point for the entire game and totaled 2 points and 8 rebounds for the night. UNIQA Sopron also won their local league match over Miskolc 62-50, with George contributing 4 points and 3 rebounds.
Good Angels Kosice couldn’t get over the line in their EuroCup match against leading team Yakin Dogu BGD. Allen’s presence however wasn’t missed, totaling 15 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals in a dominant effort. The loss now brings Allen’s side to sit third on the EuroCup ladder.
Good Angels entered their Slovakian league match on 8 wins, as did their opponents Piestanske. In what was expected to be a much closer game, turned into a hiding by Good Angels who ended Piestanske’s 8 game winning streak to win 75-52. Allen was much quieter with 4 points and 4 rebounds.
Alex Bunton led Dynamo Moscow to a crushing win over Spartak Vidnoye by 20 points. The tall forward brought in 15 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals in a dominant effort. Katie-Rae Ebzery added 5 points and 6 assists to Moscow’s big win as well.
Abby Bishop’s domination in Tarbes continues, this week picking up 21 points and 11 rebounds in their 5 point loss to Mondeville.
Rachel Jarry’s Lattes Montpellier were delivered an upset loss in the French league by Hainaut, but turned it around in their Euroleague match against UNI Gyor 65-59.
Campus Promete pulled off a hard fought 6 point win against Gipuzkoa, with Australia's Nicole Romeo one of Promete's best. The guard totaled 14 points and 4 rebounds for the night.
