Ryan Broekhoff hit a clutch triple to help Lokomotiv Kuban upset the previously undefeated CSKA Moscow in the VTB United League, while Brock Motum shined for Žalgiris Kaunas as they maintained their dominance in Lithuania.
Ryan Broekhoff connected on 4-of-7 from long-range to help power Lokomotiv Kuban to a 83-74 upset win over the previously undefeated CSKA Moscow in the VTB United League. Lokomotiv overcame CSKA Moscow's first-half dominance by setting the tone in the second half. they would eventually out-rebound and dish out more assists than their Russian rivals to run away with a win. Broekhoff's shot was on-song, with the Victorian finishing with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists, including a clutch triple in the dying minutes.

In Lithuania, Lietkabelis Panevezys held off Vytautas 71-66 to stay in outright second place in the league standings. With the playing time shared around, Ben Madgen played 20 minutes for 8 points (2/5 FG), 5 rebounds and 4 assists in a very good display. Lietkabelis has 21 assists and 11 steals compared to Vytautas' 13 and 5 and behind that play were able to withstand every challlenge down the stretch.

Žalgiris Kaunas started strongly and mmever looked threatened in their commanding 94-61 win against Dzūkija. In what proved to be a blowout, Žalgiris played their bench extensively. Brock Motum saw just 17 minutes on court and delivered 14 points on 6-of-10 shooting including 2-of-3 from long-range. He would also add 3 rebounds and 3 steals to maintain his outstanding form in Europe this season as his side maintained their 2-game clearance alone in first place in the standings.

Despite a game-high 19 points from Clint Steindl, the Leuven Bears fell short 86-76 to BC Telenet Oostende in Belgium. Steindl hit 4-of-8 from downtown and also added 2 rebounds and 3 assists as Leuven were reduced to 3-8 on the season. Steindl has been very good, but Leuven have struggled to find a way to win, now finding themselves in second last place in the standings.
In Denmark, Dan Trist compiled a 13 point and 12 rebound double-double but could not prevent Horsens IC from falling to Hørsholm 64-74. Trist went 5-of-12 from the field and also dished out 2 assists in the loss. It was Horsens' first loss of the season and they now sit just half a game clear in first place in the standings.
Tartu Rock sustained their first loss of the season, a 63-86 result against fourth placed Kalev-Cramo. While Tartu was able to control the second period, Kalev-Cramo were in command for the rest of the contest in a lop-sided upset. 6'8 forward Venky Jois came off the bench to contribute 6 points and 11 rebounds in 30 minutes. Tartu remain in outright first place despite their hiccup.
Taking on the undefeated competition leader Crvena zvezda in the Adriatic League, FMP Belgrade were never allowed to get going as they were overrun 62-93. The home side dominated the first three quarters to open up a big lead and were never seriously threatened. For first year professional Jonah Bolden it was a difficult night, with the 6'10 big man adding 6 points and 3 rebounds, limited by foul trouble in playing 21 minutes.
