Motum, who also garnered interest from 2017 EuroLeague runner up Olympiacos Piraeus, eventually made up his mind to go with Turkish side Anadolou.
According to Euroleague's official release, the contract is a one-year deal, with the club having the option to extend another year, until the end of the 2018/19 season.
As the highest paid foreigner in Lithuania, Motum played a key role in helping Zalgiris win their last two consecutive League titles, and two strong EuroLeague campaigns. He delivered 9.8 points and 2.6 rebounds per game while shooting a super-efficient 58.8% from the field and an amazing 49.8% from beyond the arc during their league campaign. In EuroLeague competition, he was good for 10.8 points and 3.4 rebounds per game while shooting 57.9% from inside the arc, and 46.2% beyond it.

In 2016, Motum was also a member of Australia's run to the medal rounds at the Rio Olympic Games. Across 4 games, he contributed 5 points and 2 rebounds per game as the Boomers went agonisingly close to earning bronze against Spain.
Anadolou is looking to improve on their 2016-17 EuroLeague campaign after just missing out on qualifying for the Final Four, while back in Turkey they were bounced out of the BSL playoffs in the semifinals. Motum is one of the key additions they are looking to make for next season as they aim to secure championships.
