Boomers' second game against Tall Blacks to be broadcast online
The Opals' 80-73 series clincher against the Tall Ferns was streamed online today, and it looks like the Boomers' fight with the Tall Blacks will follow suit.
Basketball Australia has confirmed that FIBA will be streaming Game 2 of the FIBA Oceania Championships on their YouTube channel. Click here to go to the live stream.
The Boomers are currently leading 1-0 in the series, fresh off a 71-59 victory (game recap) at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne. Patty Mills, who was added to the roster days before the game began, was the man of the match behind a 17-point, 4-rebound, 4-assist night. Fellow NBA athlete Matthew Dellavedova held his own with a 15/5/4 performance, and veteran Boomer David Andersen tied Mills with 17 points on 50% shooting and a sterling 6 of 6 from the charity stripe (Game 1 box score).
