Aussies in NBA: Bogut suffers fractured left tibia in Cavs debut
Andrew Bogut can’t catch a break. Or maybe he can after all.
The Aussie big man suffered what appeared to be a season-ending injury to his left leg in his debut for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Early in the second quarter, Bogut closed out on the right wing and his left leg appeared to make contact with Miami Heat’s Okaro White's left knee.

Update: The Cavs have officially announced Bogut's fractured left tibia injury, and has been taken to the Cleveland Clinic for further imaging and evaluation. The Aussie suffered the injury one minute in his tenure as a Cav.
Bogut has had a history of rotten injury luck, dating back to 2010 when he suffered a gruesome elbow injury that may have altered the trajectory of his career. Numerous other injuries have followed leaving to a reputation that the big man was injury-prone.
Despite the setbacks, Bogut appeared to redeem his legacy playing a key role on the title-winning Golden State Warriors in the 2014/15 season. He was also a part of the history-making 73-win Warriors team last season that lost to the Cavaliers in the NBA Finals.
Over the offseason, Bogut was subsequently traded to the Dallas Mavericks to make room for the signing of Kevin Durant.
In 26 games for the Mavericks, Bogut averaged 3.0 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.0 block per game. Bogut officially signed with the Cavaliers only days ago after the Mavericks waived him.
