Bogut status uncertain for Game 2 against New Zealand
Boomer veteran Andrew Bogut might not be able to play in today's potential series clincher against the New Zealand Tall Blacks.
According to AAP correspondent Roje Adaimy, Bogut had received additional treatment on his back after Saturday night's Game 1 victory. He arrived in New Zealand late last night, and his playing status has not been determined.
Assistant coach Luc Longley shed some light on the situation; he expressed confidence in Bogut being able to play tonight. Longley also added that he would be "surprised if [Bogut] doesn't [play]".
The center recorded 4 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, a steal and a block in nearly 22 minutes of play at Rod Laver Arena last weekend, including this impressive finish at the rim, courtesy of teammate Matthew Dellavedova.
