2016 Basketball Without Borders All-Star Camp: Day two recap
Day Two of the Basketball Without Borders Camp in Toronto at NBA All-Star Weekend has wrapped up and once again, the Australians had a strong showing.
Similar to the first day of the camp yesterday, according to reports, the four Aussies at the BWB All-Star Camp- Thon Maker, Matur Maker, Harry Froling and William McDowell-White impressed today on the second day of the event.
Here is a recap of their performances on the second day of camp.
Thon Maker
Just like the first day of camp, all eyes were on the potential filled match-up between Maker and five-star prospect DeAndre Ayton.

Maker was one of the headline acts at the camp and by all accounts, he has lived up to his hype so far. Two consecutive days, the Aussie has been playing against Ayton and he has done nothing to hurt his stock or to recommend he doesn’t belong.
Maker has yet to make his decision on where he will be attending college next season, as he is currently being recruited by St John’s, Indiana, Kansas, UNLV, Notre Dame and Arizona State but the way he is impressing at the BWB camp, expect more colleges to come calling and make a last effort attempt to secure his commitment.
Matur Maker
The younger brother of Thon, Matur had a quite first day of camp but that changed today, as he showed flashes of why he has schools already calling his name for the 2017 season.

For someone in Matur’s position- stuck behind an older brother who is already becoming a worldwide star, this is the kind of intangibles he needs to bring to the court to impress scouts. Play hard, hustle and make winning basketball plays to show that he belongs and he is currently doing that at the BWB camp, a positive sign for both himself and the future of Australian basketball.
Harry Froling
Many scouts and experts were impressed with Froling’s offensive game on the first day of camp and nothing changed today, as the SMU commit had another effective showing in Canada.

Anyone who has watched Froling knows how much of a proficient scorer he is and how good his outside shot is for someone at his size. At 6’10, he provides teams with the ability to space the floor due to his money outside shot and he can even finish around the rim with his soft touch.
Froling is showing his entire skill-set at the BWB camp and there is no reason to believe that won’t change tomorrow, the final day of the event.
William McDowell-White
One of the most highly recruited international point-guards, McDowell-White displayed his immensely profound basketball IQ and passing skills on day two of camp.

McDowell-White has yet to make his final decision on where he will be attending college next season but with the way he is showing out at the BWB camp, which ever school he goes to will be getting an extremely intelligent basketball player.
