Recruiting Update - September 25th | Vasiljevic offered by LSU, St Mary's; Kansas, Illinois offer Humphries
This September period has seen a recruiting boom of some of Australia's best junior talent. Australia had impressive showings in both the Men's U17 World Championship and the Women's U17 World Championship, leading to increased exposure to coaches and scouts all around the world.
Dejan Vasiljevic
Vasiljevic, the 6'2 SG out of Melbourne, managed to pick up offers from LSU and St Mary's over the past few weeks.

As I reported last week, representatives from a number of division-1 colleges have been at the Basketball Australia National Centre of Excellence (CoE) in a bid to recruit our most highly-touted athletes - LSU and St Mary's were amongst the colleges in attendance.
Vasiljevic averaged 17.4 ppg, 6.6 rpg, 1.3 apg on 36% FG & 37% 3pt during Australia's FIBA U17 World Championship silver-medal winning campaign, en route to an all-tournament team selection.
Vasiljevic, who was a member of the gold-medal winning Victoria Metro squad at the U18 Australian Junior Championships earlier this year, has also received offers from Lehigh, Washington St and Albany.
Isaac Humphries
Isaac Humphries' recruitment took a significant leap after his 41 pt, 19 rb, 5 blk effort against Canada at the FIBA U17 World Championships last month, proving to be one of the best players for the class of 2016.

His recruitment reached yet another level after receiving offers from Kansas and Illinois, both of whom are going extremely hard for the young 7-footer.
Humphries, who received an offer from Arizona last month, averaged 18.9 ppg, 11.6 rpg, 1.6 apg, 3.3 bpg on 58% FG during Australia's FIBA U17 World Championship silver-medal winning campaign and was subsequently named to the all-tournament team.
Harry Froling
Harry Froling, the 6'9 PF out of Townsville, recently received an offer from Washington St - Aron Baynes' alma mater.
Froling adds this offer to his growing list that includes UNLV and St Mary's. Look for his recruitment to continue as he eventually reaches his athletic potential - already making huge strides during his time at the CoE.
Froling will once again represent Queensland North in national events, a team that is now likely the favorite. We've learnt that William McDowell-White is making the move up north and will represent Queensland North at next year's U18 Australian Junior Championship. This move immediately makes Queensland North the team to beat as the 2-man game between McDowell-White and Froling will be a tough task for anyone to defend.
Morgan Yaeger
Morgan Yaeger was a member of the Australian U17 Women's squad that earned a very respectable 5th place at the FIBA U17 World Championship for Women a few months ago, averaging 2.8 ppg, 1 rpg on 50% FG.
Yaeger has seen her recruitment pick up significantly, picking up offers from Southern Arkansas University, Bryant University and Houston Baptist University.
We'll continue to bring the best and most exclusive coverage of the Australian high school basketball scene, covering recruitment and national events throughout the year.
