EuroView: Talbot brings a stellar performance in Poland
It's been another big week in Europe for our Australians, with Cayla George, Tess Madgen and Steph Talbot bringing in some major highlights.
ASZ Gorzow of Poland had a great win on the road, smashing MKK Siedlce 53-86 led by Australian Steph Talbot. Talbot was absolutely everywhere as she second top scored for the game with 24 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and a huge 6 steals in one epic performance. The young Aussie has been building her game with some momentum behind her in Poland and is starting to get increasingly solid games under her belt.
AZS UMCS were able to bring home a brilliant 20 point win against Widzew, led by yet again Australian Tess Madgen who continues to top score for her Lublin side, this time with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals.
Cayla George's UNIQA Sopron pulled off a great win against Bourges Basket in the Euroleague 77-69, as George brought in 5 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks. However she was most prominent in the past week in the Hungarian league match, dominating against WBW CEKK Cegled. The tall forward went into beast mode with 24 points and 11 rebounds for the game.
Nat Hurst was again solid for Hatay, as they came up against UMMC Ekaterinburg in the EuroLeague to eventually lose by 9 points. The Australian point guard had 10 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists as she continues to run the charge for this side. Hurst also banked 10 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists in Hatay’s 84-57 win in the Turkish league over Samsun.
BLMA were given a hiding by the stacked up Dynamo Kursk by 38 points, as WNBA MVP Nneka Ogwumike dominated with 16 points and 14 rebounds. Rachel Jarry was kept busy with the most amount of time on the court up, finishing up with 10 points in what was a tough day at the office for her entire side.
Lattes Montpellier came out on top against Tarbes 64-54 in the French league, as Jarry faced up against fellow Australian Abby Bishop. Bishop was excellent however, taking on a tough opponent for the full 40 minutes and top scoring with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists. Jarry was much quieter in the French league game, with just 5 points to her name.

Alex Bunton continues to get points on the board for Dynamo Moscow, however they are yet to break a 4 game losing streak. Their fourth loss came this week against Dynamo NR by 10 points, as tall forward Bunton tried hard to break the losing streak. The Australian had 18 points and 5 rebounds, while Katie-Rae Ebzery was much quieter with 2 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists.
Rebecca Allen’s Good Angels Kosice continue to deliver powering performances in the Slovakian league, this time overcoming BAM Poprad by a massive 76 points. Rebecca Allen was again brilliant and top scored with 19 points.

Campus Promete were taken down by Gerona by 10 points, however Australian guard Nicole Romeo delivered an excellent match, putting 20 points on the board alongside 6 rebounds and 3 assists.
