EuroView: Bolden's best yet, Motum consistent
Jonah Bolden was one of a handful of Aussie men who starred in Europe this past weekend, with Brock Motum also remaining consistent as Zalgiris maintained their dominance in Lithuania.
In the Adriatic League, first-year professional Jonah Bolden impressed in FMP Belgrade's narrow 85-89 loss to Olimpija Ljubljana. Bolden continued to start, delivering a career-best 16 points (5/11 FG) with 12 rebounds in 26 minutes. It was not enough however for FMP to be able to escape with a win, who remain in 8th place but losing contact with the top sides.

Still in Lithuania, Lietkabelis Panevezys fell short to Juventus 77-84. Lietkabelis had to make do with little help from Ben Madgen who just played a season low 11 minutes for just 3 points. His side travels to Macedonia for an important EuroCup contest, and it appears that Madgen was rested ahead of the big game.
BC Tartu Rock and Venky Jois experienced a mixed week. In the FIBA Europe Cup competition, Jois came up with a big 18 point (7/10 FG) and 11 rebound double-double in their narrow 3-point loss to Oberwart (76-79). While it was a great individual performance by Jois, Tartu missed the opportunity to generate their first win, now sporting a 0-3 record. Tartu did bounce back to account for KorvpalliKlubi Tallinn 75-64 in their next outing back in the Estonian national league. Jois would only play 13 minutes for 6 rebounds in that game as Tartu maintained their unbeaten start (5-0).

After a blistering start to the season, Clint Steindl's hot shooting was cooled by Okapi Aalstar who overwhelmed Leuven 106-88 in Belgium. Steindl was blanketed, only getting off one three-point attempt to finish with 5 points and 3 rebounds in 24 minutes. With the loss, the Leuven Bears see themselves in 8th place with a 3-5 record.
While Steindl had an off shooting night, Ryan Broekhoff showed signs that his shooting stroke may have returned in Lokomotiv Kuban's 83-67 win against Tsmoki-Minsk in the VTB United League. In coming off the bench, Broekhoff connected on 2/4 from long-range to finish with 6 points and 3 rebounds in 12 minutes. After making a couple of shots, he will be looking to build on that performance in Lokomotiv's next EuroCup game.
